Improved Looting Never Increases Drop and Gain Rate in RS3
Today, Jagex has released an improved looting in RS and it is said that the new looting system allows players to grab all rs 3 item drops in the surrounding area. Personally, it should work in different way during combat. Let’s see why it happens.
Improved looting in RS 3
Based on the official statement, the improved looting mechanics will be switched on by default. If you would rather stick to the old loot system, you need to toggle it off on the Game Setting interface.
It is potential to change how you play eventually. First, left-click a piece of loot and the new looting interface will open so that you can follow the tips to claim loots into your backpack. Besides, loot Options on Game Setting interface will also offer you further details to set up your loot interface, including custom loot criteria (a minimum coin value and various categories).
Meanwhile, there are some limitations for the new looting system. One is that the loot interface cannot be used in most minigames and areas which looting requires line of sight to the item in question. Another is that items related to quests cannot be picked up through the Loot interface. But if you need, you can order rs 3 minigames and mini quests on RSorder to gain what you need.
Improved looting may fail to the real combat
In the current game play setting, if you are in an area which has a lot of mobs and are being attacked constantly, it is extremely difficult for you to pick anything up. Usually, when you try to pick something up, a mob attacks you. At this time, you have to stop going for the drop and attack the mob instead.
Therefore, players cannot do anything during combat, but defending. What’s worse, new comers accidentally screw themselves. So it is necessary to turn it off by default initially.
You should to test this new looting mechanics by yourself as so to gain more drops in game. If you are still worrying about mobs’ attack, never mind and you can buy RS 3 gold on RSorder to make things easy. Have fun!
