Planned Reformation with Grave-System for OSRS Death Mechanics
The "weak and forgiving" OSRS Death Mechanics rules in the game of Old School RuneScape has been a concern of the community, which is feared to violate the integrity of the popular game. Based on a pool about this topic, the OSRS team has planned to put the reformation of Death Mechanics on schedule.
Brief Introduction to the old Death Mechanics
Currently, when a player's Hitpoints reach zero, he/she will be informed as dead by a message in the Chat Interface. Soon after his/her death, the dead player will respawn at the respawn point that he/she previously set before death. At dying, the play will lose all his/her items except for three of the most valuable items, as well as his/her untradeable items carried at the time of death. There will be 60 minutes for respawned players to retrieve their items from where they died before they disappear.
The Planned Reformation in the OSRS Death Mechanics
According the feedback of the OSRS community, players are expecting a grave-system that keeps the items of dead player around the death spot (excluding dangerous-PvP-scenarios) for 20 minutes. They can even loot the grave-system in combat. In addition, during this 20 minutes, if the player has logged-off, the real life time would not be counted within. As for the Death Mechanics of the players play game under the UIM mode, for the great impact of the aforementioned change, it will be treated separately.
Are you feeling thrilled by the upcoming changes in OSRS Death Mechanics? Will the new grave-system meet your expectation for the game? Before you give any answer, you are gonna need enough cheap OSRS gold from us to experience the change.
