Ironman Tips and Tricks for 2023: A Comprehensive Guide
Oct-05-2023 PSTWelcome, fellow adventurers, to this updated guide on Ironman mode in RuneScape! Over the past few years, countless changes have occurred, making it necessary to provide you with a fresh set of tips and tricks to aid you on your journey. As a seasoned Ironman player who recently achieved maxed account status after six years of gameplay, I am excited to share the knowledge I've acquired. Ironman mode has been the most enjoyable experience I've had in RuneScape, and it offers a unique sense of motivation and accomplishment. So, let's dive right in!
Acquire the Graceful Outfit:
Begin your journey by obtaining the Graceful Outfit through training Agility. Despite Agility being less thrilling than other activities, it offers numerous benefits for your account. The full Graceful Outfit increases your natural run energy by 30% and reduces your weight by 25 kilograms when worn as a complete set. This allows for easier questing and improved mobility throughout the game world.
Utilize the Agility Pyramid:
As you enhance your Agility level, consider engaging in the Agility Pyramid activity. The higher your Agility, the lower your chances of failing this challenge. Atop the pyramid, you will obtain the pyramid top, which can be exchanged for a generous sum of 10,000 GP. This influx of currency proves invaluable for a fresh Ironman, enabling you to purchase essential items.
Embrace Clue Scrolls:
Throughout your journey, you'll receive Clue Scrolls of varying difficulty levels—beginner, easy, medium, hard, elite, and master. Right from the start, prioritize obtaining Clue Scrolls by engaging in Skilling or slaying creatures. Take the time to complete these Clue Scrolls, even if you're unsure of the rewards. Doing so will unlock stash units and potentially provide significant upgrades for your account. Additionally, Clue Scrolls often require quests or skill level advancements, serving as a catalyst for exploring new content and leveling up unintentionally.
Commence Combat with Magic:
When initiating combat, I highly recommend starting with Magic. Magic is potent at lower levels, allowing you to swiftly overcome quests and their respective bosses. Furthermore, as you progress in Magic, you unlock teleport spells, greatly enhancing your mobility throughout the game world. Enchanting jewelry also becomes possible, providing you with teleportation options.
Begin in Varrock and Maximize Your Early Progress:
Commence your Ironman journey in Varrock and make the most of your early progress. Here's what you should prioritize:
Stronghold of Security: Complete the Stronghold of Security to secure an immediate 10,000 OSRS Gold. This substantial sum proves invaluable for purchasing necessary supplies.
Museum Visit: Pay a visit to the museum to earn Kudos, gain Slayer and Hunter experience from levels one to nine, and obtain a strong boost at the start of your journey.
Daddy's Home Mini Quest: Engage in the Daddy's Home mini quest, which grants you a free Player-Owned House (POH) and valuable early-level Construction Supplies.
By diligently following these steps, you'll establish a solid foundation for your Ironman adventure.
