1. Talk to Kaqemeex: Find him in the stone circle north of Taverley. Choose the dialogue options: 2 -> 1.

2. Speak to Sanfew: Visit him upstairs in the Herblore shop in Taverley. Choose the dialogue options: 1 -> 2.

3. Obtain the raw meats: Collect raw bear meat, raw rat meat, raw beef, and raw chicken. You can:

    • Buy them from the Grand Exchange (fastest method).

    • Kill the animals yourself.

    • Purchase them from Rufus' Meat Emporium in Canifis (Ironman-friendly).

4. Enchant the meats: Bring the meats to the Cauldron of Thunder in Taverley Dungeon and use them on the cauldron.

5. Return to Sanfew: Hand over the enchanted meats.

6. Finish with Kaqemeex: Speak to him again to complete the quest.

Long Guide

Starting Out

Items Needed: None

To begin your journey into Herblore, talk to Kaqemeex at the stone circle north of Taverley. This area is east of the road leading to Burthorpe. Kaqemeex will share some lore about how their old stone circle in Varrock was overtaken by dark wizards. Afterward, he’ll direct you to speak with Sanfew for further guidance.

Meeting Sanfew

Items Needed: Raw bear meat, raw rat meat, raw beef, raw chicken

Head into Taverley and look for the large octagonal building marked with an herb icon. This is the Herblore shop, and Sanfew can be found upstairs. Tell him Kaqemeex sent you, and he’ll explain the ritual: you need to enchant four types of meat at the Cauldron of Thunder.

Obtaining the Meats

Here are your options for collecting the required raw meats:

1.Grand Exchange Method (Fastest)

   • Buy all four raw meats from other players.

2.Hunter’s Method (Free but slower)

   • Raw bear meat: Kill bears south of the Varrock southeast mine or near Ice Mountain.

   • Raw rat meat: Kill giant rats near the Varrock southeast mine or at Port Sarim’s church.

   • Raw chicken: Kill chickens around Lumbridge or the Falador farm.

   • Raw beef: Kill cows near Lumbridge or Falador farm.

3.Ironman Method

   • If you have access to Canifis, buy all four raw meats from Rufus’ Meat Emporium.

The Dungeon Adventure

The next step is enchanting the meats at the Cauldron of Thunder, located in Taverley Dungeon. Follow these steps to reach the cauldron:

1. Enter the dungeon: Look for the entrance south of Taverley.

2. Navigate the dungeon: Head down the ladder and walk north. You’ll pass level 22 and 25 skeletons.

3. Pass the gate: At the gate guarded by level 19 animated armors, use the spam-click trick to bypass them without fighting. Simply click the gate repeatedly to avoid being attacked.

The Enchanting Process

Items Needed: Raw bear meat, raw rat meat, raw beef, raw chicken

Once you reach the Cauldron of Thunder, use each piece of raw meat on the cauldron. Be sure not to just click on the cauldron, as it won’t work that way. The meats will be transformed into their enchanted forms:

• Enchanted bear meat

• Enchanted rat meat

• Enchanted beef

• Enchanted chicken

Wrapping Things Up

Items Needed: All four enchanted meats

With the enchanted meats in your inventory, exit the dungeon the way you came. Return to Sanfew in Taverley and hand over the enchanted meats. He’ll then direct you to Kaqemeex for the final step. Speak to Kaqemeex again at the stone circle to officially unlock the Herblore skill and complete the quest!
