Pest Control is one of the most useful minigames in Old School RuneScape, especially for players looking to get Void Knight gear. Requirements

You wont need food or potions unless youre under-leveled.

How the Game Works

Once youre in a game, your main goals are to:

· Keep your activity bar above 30% by dealing damage.

· Destroy the portals once they become vulnerable (youll see a red outline).

· Kill Spinners, which heal portals.

· Protect the Void Knight in the middle — if they die, the game ends and you get no points.

Most games last about 2–3 minutes if your team knows what theyre doing.

Getting Points

You earn a set number of points depending on the boat you use:

· Novice boat (level 40+): 3 points per game

· Intermediate boat (level 70+): 4 points per game

· Veteran boat (level 100+): 5 points per game

You can get bonus points if youve completed Combat Achievements:

· Easy: +1 point per game

· Medium: +2 points

· Hard: +3 points

How Many Points Do You Need

To buy a full set of Void Armor with one helmet, you need:

· Void Knight Top – 250 points

· Void Knight Robe (Bottom) – 250 points

· Void Knight Gloves – 150 points

· Helmet (Ranged, Melee, or Magic) – 200 points

Thats a total of 850 points. If you want all three helmets, youll need 1,250 points in total.

If you've completed the Hard Western Provinces Diary, you can also upgrade to Elite Void, which costs an additional 400 points.
