• Speak with King Bolren in the center of the Tree Gnome Maze. He’ll explain that the Khazard forces have stolen the sacred orbs. Accept his plea for help.

• Elkoy will guide you out of the maze.

2. Helping Commander Montai

• Locate Commander Montai, dressed in red, near the southwestern battlefield below the river.

• Provide him with 6 regular logs to bolster their defenses.

3. Locating the Trackers

• Head to the Khazard Stronghold and find the missing trackers:

   • First tracker: Near the northwestern area of the stronghold.

   • Second tracker: Inside a building in the northeastern section.

   • Third tracker: Patrolling the southwestern corner, offering cryptic clues about ballista coordinates:

• Infiltrate the stronghold by climbing the broken wall near the north.

• Avoid or defeat level 48 Khazard Commanders and retrieve the first orb of protection from a chest on the second floor.

• Return to King Bolren with the first orb. He’ll reveal the remaining orbs are held by the Khazard Warlord.

5. Defeating the Khazard Warlord

• Travel south of the stronghold, near the Underground Pass entrance.

• Defeat the level 112 Khazard Warlord using melee, ranged or magic tactics:

   • Ranged Method: Attack from a safe distance west of the large dead tree.

   • Melee Method: Use hit-and-run tactics, stepping in and out of his attack range.

• After defeating him, collect the orbs and return to King Bolren to complete the quest.

Detailed Walkthrough

1. Starting the Quest

Your adventure begins at the Tree Gnome Maze, located southwest of Ardougne. Speak to King Bolren, who explains the Khazard forces have stolen three sacred orbs essential to their spirit tree network. Accept his quest, and Elkoy will guide you out of the maze.

2. Helping Commander Montai

Bring 6 regular logs to Commander Montai near the battlefield. If you don’t have logs, you can:

• Chop trees nearby (requires an axe, dropped by goblins in the maze).

• Bank the logs before starting the quest for faster progression.

After delivering the logs, Montai will mention three missing trackers sent to gather intelligence.

3. Finding the Trackers

Trackers are spread across the Khazard Stronghold:

• First tracker: North of the battlefield near a large building.

• Second tracker: Imprisoned inside a northeastern cell.

• Third tracker: Patrolling the southwestern stronghold corner.

The third tracker speaks in riddles, which you’ll decode to find the ballista coordinates. Input these numbers at the ballista to destroy the Khazard defenses.

Travel to the Underground Pass entrance, south of the stronghold. Prepare for battle against the Khazard Warlord (level 112):

Once defeated, collect the remaining orbs and return them to King Bolren.
