Hello and welcome to another Lumbridge Knight Quest guide for F2P OSRS. In this guide, we're tackling the Prince Ali Rescue Quest, an essential quest for free-to-play players. Completing this quest grants you free use of the Al Kharid toll gate, making your travels between Lumbridge and Al Kharid much more convenient. This quest is mainly a fetch and carry type, with no real requirements other than being cautious around the level 26 Jailers. They can deal damage to very low levels, so be careful. Let's get started!

Items Needed

Before we dive into the quest steps, let's gather all the necessary OSRS items. You'll need quite a few, so it's best to collect everything beforehand to make the quest run smoothly.

    • 2-3 Lumbridge Teleports (to speed things up)

    • Energy or Stamina Potions (optional, but helpful)

Item Checklist:

1. Pink Skirt: Buy from Thessalia's Fine Clothes in Varrock for 2 coins.

2. 3 Beers: Purchase from any pub for 2 coins each or collect from the longhouse in Barbarian Village.

3. Copper Ore: Mine in Rimmington or the Dwarven Mine.

4. Tin Ore: Mine in Rimmington or the Dwarven Mine.

5. Clay: Mine in Rimmington or the Dwarven Mine.

6. Bronze Bar: Smelt the Copper and Tin ore at a furnace.

7. Pot of Flour: Buy from Wydin's Food Store in Port Sarim for 10 coins.

8. Redberries: Buy from Wydin's Food Store in Port Sarim for 3 coins.

9. Ashes: Burn logs with an axe and tinderbox, then collect the ashes.

10. Jug of Water: Fill a jug from the kitchen sink in Lumbridge Castle.

11. 3 Balls of Wool: Shear sheep in the field north of Lumbridge Castle, then spin the wool on the castle spinning wheel.

12. 2 Onions: Collect from the vegetable patch behind Farmer Fred's house.

13. Yellow Dye: Have Aggie in Draynor Village make it with 2 onions and 5 coins.

14. Rope: Buy from Ned in Draynor Village for 18 coins.

Step-by-Step Guide

Now that we have all our items, let's dive into the quest itself.

1. Start the Quest: Head to Al Kharid Palace and speak to Chancellor Hassan. Accept the quest, and he will direct you to Osman, who is just outside the palace.

2. Speak to Osman: Osman, the man in the black hood, will give you a brief overview of the situation. Click through the dialogue until he directs you to his contact, Leela.

3. Get the Skin Paste: Head to Draynor Village and speak to Aggie. You will need a Jug/Bucket of Water, Pot of Flour, Redberries, and Ashes. Ask Aggie to make you Skin Paste.

4. Get the Yellow Dye: If you haven't already, ask Aggie to make Yellow Dye using 2 onions and 5 coins.

5. Make the Wig: Speak to Ned in Draynor Village. Ask him if he can make a wig and give him the 3 balls of wool. Use the Yellow Dye on the wig to get a Blonde Wig.

6. Get the Key Imprint: Ensure you have the Soft Clay and head to the jail in Draynor Village. Speak to Lady Keli using the following dialogue options: 1, 1, 2, 1, 1. This will get you an imprint of the key.

7. Make the Key: Use a Lumbridge Teleport and head back to Osman. Give him the Bronze Bar and the key imprint. He will make the key for you and tell you to collect it from Leela.

8. Collect the Key: Head back to Draynor Village and speak to Leela, who is east of Draynor Village between the wheat field and the jail. She will give you the key.

The Rescue

Now that we have all the items and the key, it's time to rescue Prince Ali.

1. Enter the Jail: Head into the jail with the Rope, Pink Skirt, Skin Paste, Blonde Wig, 3 Beers, and the Cell Key. Be cautious of the jailers if you're a low level.

2. Incapacitate Joe: Speak to the guard, Joe, and offer him a beer. He will accept all 3 beers and become incapacitated.

3. Capture Lady Keli: Use the Rope on Lady Keli to tie her up and put her in the cupboard.

4. Rescue the Prince: Enter the cell and speak to Prince Ali. He will take the disguise and escape.

Completing the Quest

1. Return to Chancellor Hassan: Use another Lumbridge Teleport or walk back to Al Kharid Palace. Speak to Chancellor Hassan to complete the quest.
