Short Walkthrough

1. Travel to Miscellania:

• Take a boat from Rellekka’s middle dock or use the fairy ring code CIP.

• Optional: Purchase flowers from the Flower Girl for 15 coins.

2. Speak to King Vargas:

• Head to the first floor of the castle and talk to King Vargas.

• Choose either Princess Astrid or Prince Brand as your royal partner.

3. Courtship:

• Princess Astrid Route:

   • Use flowers and dance emote.

   • Follow her dialogue cues and give her a bow and ring to secure her favor.

• Prince Brand Route:

   • React to his poem with the clap or cheer emote.

   • Offer him flowers, a cake, and a ring while agreeing with his dialogue.

4. Make Peace with Etceteria:

• Speak to Queen Sigrid in Etceteria.

• Obtain a revised anthem from Advisor Ghrim.

• Create a giant pen using an iron bar and logs, then finalize the treaty.

5. Gaining Support:

• Achieve 75% approval rating by:

   • Mining coal

   • Chopping maple trees

   • Fishing

   • Raking herb or flax patches

6. Complete the Quest:

• Return to King Vargas with sufficient approval to claim your rewards.

Detailed Walkthrough

Step 1: Travel to Miscellania

Use the boat from Rellekka or the fairy ring CIP to arrive on Miscellania. Before meeting King Vargas, purchase flowers from the Flower Girl in the courtyard.

Step 2: Meet King Vargas

Speak to King Vargas, who will task you with three objectives:

1. Marry either Princess Astrid or Prince Brand.

2. Broker peace with Etceteria.

3. Gain the kingdom’s support.

Step 3: Choose Your Royal Partner

• Princess Astrid:

   • Use flowers and perform the dance emote.

   • Charm her with dialogue choices and present a bow and ring.

• Prince Brand:

   • Respond to his poem with clap or cheer emote.

   • Offer flowers, a cake, and a ring while agreeing with his dialogue.

Step 4: Make Peace with Etceteria

Head to Etceteria and meet Queen Sigrid, who demands recognition as a sovereign nation. Complete these steps:

• Obtain a revised anthem from Advisor Ghrim.

• Create a giant pen using an iron bar and logs.

• Return to King Vargas with the signed treaty.

Step 5: Gaining Kingdom Support

Achieve a 75% approval rating by performing tasks around Miscellania:

• Mining coal in the north.

• Chopping maple trees in the center (requires 45 Woodcutting).

• Fishing on the docks (e.g., lobsters or swordfish).

• Raking herb or flax patches near the castle walls.

For maximum efficiency:

• Use the world-hopping trick to reset weed growth when raking.

• Check your progress with Advisor Ghrim.

Step 6: Claim Your Rewards

Once your approval rating reaches 75%, speak to King Vargas to complete the quest.
